Liberation Ceremony

Today was a very emotional day as we honoured both my father and the other troops. I presented a wreath from Peachland Council and residents. The Leeuwarden Mayor is in Canada right now honouring the Royal Canadian Dragoons. I met and was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Mayor. We then went on a tour along the same road my Father led his squadron into Leeuwarden.
